LLyn Elsi is a beautiful lake located above Betws y Coed at an elevation of approximately 235m.  It can be accessed by various routes from the village and offers stunning view of the Carneddau and Glyderau moutains, as well as Moel Siabod.  There is a path around the lake and for the adventurous the Roman road Sarn Helen can be found which connects to to the A470 near Dolwyddelan and to the A5 near Swallow Falls.
